Photography

The land we live on is not just a backdrop—it is alive, speaking, waiting to be known. Through my photography, I invite you to see the quiet magic of the world around you. My work is about deepening our relationship with the land—not as something separate from us, but as something we belong to.

When we see its beauty, we begin to care for it.

When we recognize its presence, we remember our own place within it.

Where the wild meets the water. Towering evergreens, mist-laden shores, and the rhythmic pulse of the tides—this is the untamed magic of Canada's West Coast.

The sky’s final masterpiece before the night. Each sunset is a fleeting moment of fire and gold, a quiet invitation to pause, exhale, and witness the world in its most radiant glow.

Endless, ever-changing, alive. From moody grays to electric blues, from wisps of silver to a canvas ablaze with color, my lens finds the poetry in the open expanse above

Each image speaks to the land's living rhythms, from the stillness of a buffalo in the mist to flowers and mushrooms emerging in their season, all parts of an ever-changing yet timeless whole.

Spring is the season of renewal—the land wakes up, and everything begins again. On the prairies, spring comes slowly. It’s a season of patience and quiet transformation, where every small sign of life is a reminder that change is always unfolding.

Summer is a season of energy and abundance. Prairie summers means endless skies holding the last light late into the day. The heat settles into the earth, wild grasses sway in the warm wind, and the land hums with life.

Autumn marks the transition—the land preparing to rest. The trees blaze with color before letting go, the air turns crisp, and the first frost dusts the ground. This is the time of harvest, of gathering, and the quiet beauty of the land winding down.

Winter strips everything back to its essence. The land rests, the trees stand bare, and the world feels quieter. The familiar is transformed, offering a different kind of beauty—stark, strong, and still. This season reminds us of the land’s rhythms and the necessity of rest.

With deep respect and gratitude, I acknowledge that the land on which I work and live is Treaty Six Territory; traditional territories of the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people. My deepest gratitude and respect is extended to the original stewards of these lands and it is part of my mission through my work to help settlers who have forgotten their place in the web of life to situate themselves appropriately so they can be in right relation with the world.

I want to acknowledge the deep wisdom I have been entrusted with through my relationships with Indigenous teachers, family, and friends. The insights I share have been shaped by their generosity, guidance, and lived experience, and I do not claim them as my own.

I offer my deepest gratitude and respect to those who have shared their knowledge with me, and I commit to honoring it with integrity, humility, and care, while consciously and continually learning how to best share my gifts in service to all creation.
