Liberatory Voicework - 3 session package

Reclaim Your Voice, Reclaim Your Power

1 hOnline

Service Description

Session 1, Coming Home to Your Body & Breath, is all about grounding and reconnecting with yourself. We’ll begin with gentle exercises to help you feel present in your body and breath, using movement to release tension and deepen awareness. This session introduces the "mind-down" approach—shifting out of overthinking and into a more felt, embodied experience. We’ll also explore simple vocalizations like humming, sighing, and toning, allowing you to notice how your voice feels in your body and where you might be holding tension or resistance. In Session 2, Finding Your Natural Sound, we’ll dive deeper into breath and movement, focusing on opening the ribcage and diaphragm for more freedom in expression. Through vocal play, we’ll explore different tones, textures, and emotions, working with primal sounds—sighs, yawns, shouts, and laughter—to access raw, authentic voice. This is also where we’ll notice where self-consciousness arises and gently learn to move through it. We'll take time to reflect on any internalized rules or beliefs about voice and expression, making space to reclaim our natural sound. Session 3, The Power of Resonance & Embodied Voice, focuses on using breath and body alignment to create fuller, richer resonance. We’ll explore different resonating chambers—the chest, head, throat, and belly—feeling the vibrations and how they change with intention. This is also a space to notice how voice shifts with emotion, energy, and focus. Together, we can explore the kinds of songs you love and why, maybe even singing along with a favorite artist to experience the joy of sound. Each session flows with what YOU need that day - we can slow down, speed up, or go completely off-script. There's always space for your neurodivergent brain to process and integrate in its own way. Think of it less like traditional voice lessons and more like an embodied exploration with lots of permission to be exactly who you are. ** In order to get the most out of your sessions, please ensure you have a good internet connection, adequate space to move around, wear something you feel comfortable to move in, make sure your background is off and turn the gain down if you have a specialized microphone.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule we require 24 hours notice. If a session is cancelled without 24 hours notice, the fee for that session will be forfeit.

With deep respect and gratitude, I acknowledge that the land on which I work and live is Treaty Six Territory; traditional territories of the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people. My deepest gratitude and respect is extended to the original stewards of these lands and it is part of my mission through my work to help settlers who have forgotten their place in the web of life to situate themselves appropriately so they can be in right relation with the world.

I want to acknowledge the deep wisdom I have been entrusted with through my relationships with Indigenous teachers, family, and friends. The insights I share have been shaped by their generosity, guidance, and lived experience, and I do not claim them as my own.

I offer my deepest gratitude and respect to those who have shared their knowledge with me, and I commit to honoring it with integrity, humility, and care, while consciously and continually learning how to best share my gifts in service to all creation.
